Changes & Cancellations Questions? Call (201) 851-7588

The following are the policies of Peugeot's OPEN EUROPE Lease Program and apply only to residents of the United States. Please note that all prices are in US Dollars.

If you need to cancel your reservation more than thirty days prior to your pick-up date, Peugeot Open Europe will refund your US$200 deposit in full. If you cancel within thirty days of your pick-up date, Peugeot Open Europe will refund your entire payment less the US$100 deposit. It should be noted that only the $200 deposit is initially debited from your credit card. The balance is debited thirty days prior to pickup.

You can make changes to your return location and/or return date, even while you're on the road in Europe, without penalty. If a different drop off charge applies to the return site, you will be charged/credited the difference. You are responsible for making such changes. To do so, contact the office of the new return location (listed in your copy of the "Practical Guidebook" booklet) at least 48 to 72 hours ahead of the actual return date.

Lease-days beyond the first 30 are refundable. Which is to say, if the duration of your lease exceeds 30 days and if you return your vehicle on a date earlier than the return date on your contract, you receive a refund for all the unused lease-days beyond the first 30. However, you must request such refund from Peugeot Open Europe following return of the vehicle.

Contract extensions can be made from the road provided you give Peugeot one-week's notice and make any necessary additional payment before the last day of the original contract.  For extensions, the maximum is 175 days (170 when car is picked up and returned outside of France). The numbers to call are (0)1 49 04 81 19 or (0)1 49 04 82 44.  You will need to provide the registration number of your vehicle, your Peugeot Open Europe contract number, and your credit card details. Peugeot Paris will fax (or mail) the new insurance certificate to you at the number (or address) you indicate. It's all straightforward and simple!
